How the Referral Bonus Works
Eligibility
All active full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees of North Atlantic Service are eligible to participate in the snow referral bonus program.
Referred Candidates
Must be hired for a seasonal position and participate in the required number of snow events. This is subject to be changed with approval from the General Manager.
Referral Window
Referrals must be made between October 1st and February 28th and communicated to hr@northatlanticservice.com. Bonuses will be paid at the end of the season.

What Are the Requirements?
- The referred candidate must not have been previously employed by North Atlantic Service.
- Both the referring employee and the referred candidate must be actively employed by North Atlantic Service at the time of the bonus payout.
- The referred employee must work at least 28 hours across 4 “plowable snow events.”
- and a minimum of 7 hours per “plowable snow event.”
What Is Considered a 'Plowable Snow Event'?
- To be considered a plowable snow event, a minimum of 7 hours must be spent working. Plowing must be required as dictated by the General Manager of NAS in the region the referred employee is dispatched to work in.
- If a snow event occurs across two or more consecutive dates, it is considered one snow event. Or decided by the NAS General Manager.
